Box of surgical instruments for amputation, Napoleon III, by the Charriere house, Collin & Cie in Paris, which belonged to a military surgeon. The casket is in walnut with brass protective reinforcements. It contains a straight saw, a Gigli type band saw, pliers, seven knives and bistouries, a small saw and three stitching needles. The handles are made of ebony. Hemostatic tourniquet in bronze and red leather. Napoleon III period, around 1870-1880
