About

French furniture, table with balusters and the Henri II design of Androuet du Cerceau, characteristic of the Second French Renaissance. It is made up of a tray decorated with a godrooned border and supported by a string-course decorated with interlacing with tops topped by acanthuses in angles. The tray rests on a H legs and crossbars, supported by seven columns in baluster, topped by consoles with the shape of acanthuses and connected by round arches. The two feet, with scroll-works in foliage motives are joined by a crossbar. 19th century piece of furniture.
