Early italian Renaissance picture painting from the Quattrocento, end of the 15th century, around 1500, representing an exceptional ceiling panel, portrait of a gentleman, entourage of Bonifacio Bembo. The young man is wearing a short black bar under an arch of the classic Renaissance decorated with leafy foliages.

This panel reminds the set of seven ceiling panels, painted in the circle of Bonifacio Bembo around the mid 15th century and reproduced in the catalog of sales of Piasa, June 8th 2011 at Drouot, lot 31.
The Decorative Arts Museum of Paris preserves a series of panels from Cremona and attributed to Bonifacio Bembo, the style of the characters is very closed to this panel.
