Very rare horse muzzle, Renaissance Classic called noseband. It is decorated with a German shield alternating wooden deer and eagles, framed by two wild men standing with banners. Central decoration of two-headed eagle surmounted by an angel. Front medallion with faun head. On the sides, multiple lions' muzzles alternating with flowers. Renaissance or early 17th century period.
