Beautiful Second Renaissance Henri IV dressoir - cabinet, dresser or credenza furniture. This sideboard constituted by a cabinet with two leaves supported by a wide gadrooned belt with drawers. It is connected to the low shelf by impressive fluted columns and pilasters topped by two arches joined in the center by a pendant. Flanked by pilasters, central and side panels of the upper part of this Renaissance piece of furniture are decorated with masks on interlaced strapworks or wormlike ornaments. The decoration of the whole cabinet also combines the classic feather, egg and dart pattern, cymatium or bead ornaments from Henri IV period, during the second half of the 16th century.
Really good condition, nice patina. Small restorations (feet) and removed locks
