Chinese painting picture, Ming or Qing court scene with musicians and courtesans surrounding the emperor in a garden bordering a lake with a pagoda on pilotis, 17-18th century period. The frame in golden lacquer is from the period. It has two jade fibulas inlaid with hooks of ties carved in the shape of archaic dragon head, the top being carved by Chilongs (hornless dragons in chinese mythology) crawling among foliages. These brooches are from the 18th century. Fibulae length:8.5 cm Width:2 cm Thickness: 2 cm.
