About

Asian sword, japanese samurai sword, 17th century Edo cold weapon. The Nagako (tang) signed KIN-MICHI, (third generation) has been shortened. The blade forged in 1670, measures 65 cm for a total length of 90 cm. The Hamon (hardening line) is clearly visible. Back iori-mune (with two slopes), ko-kissaki spike. The signed Tsuba is oval and openwork. Saya (scabbard) is in black lacquered wood. Split same-hada and decorated with menukis. Antique certified by an expert in militaria.

Conservation status

Really good condition. The Nagako (silk) was shortened. Small marks of knocks on the Saya (scabbard)
