Lyon French Regency period armoire from Lyon of the early 18th century made with the finest french walnut ffrom the Dauphine. It is characterized by a trilobe cornice as well as by a work of sculpture of a great finesse typical of Lyonnais work. The central sculpture represents a scallop shell worked in the mass and which is the attribute of the french Regency. The lock also made by a Lyonnais locksmith is typical of his work recognizable to the triangular shaft.
