7 950 €

Art Deco style dining room designed by the American designer Frank Lloyd Wright and edited by the Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina, with a table and six armchairs. Frank Lloyd Wright's Husser model 615, the rectangular table in tinted cherry wood, was designed in 1899, and published by Cassina in 1992. It has a four-foot base with fine slats creating its originality, as well as a Greek frieze on the edge of the table top. It is dated 1992 and numbered 01322. Its dimensions are shown below. The six armchairs, 606 Barrel models, also created by Lloyd Wright in 1937 and published by Cassina in 1986, have a great originality due to their long curved backrests and fine openwork bars. The circular seat of these armchairs, made of honey leather, are in very good condition. These seats are dated 1986 and numbered 26786, 26809, 26857, 26939, 28545 and 28678. Their size: height 81 cm x width 54.5 cm x depth 55.5 cm.

This dining room has kept its documentation of Cassina, two certificates of identity of the armchairs and the original invoice of Collectania, Parisian specialist of designer furniture at the end of the 20th century. These documents will be delivered with the package. Born in 1867 in Wisconson, USA, Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the founders of modern architecture. He marked the 20th century considerably by the use of reinforced concrete, glass, steel or projecting structures, as well as by this type of very avant-garde furniture. He will design buildings of astonishing modernity where the architectural sense coincided with the quality of the interior and exterior space.
