Louis XV - Louis XVI style fold screen, with three panels, representing three scenes, oil paintings, framed by a very beautiful stuccoed and gilded wood. In a bucolic setting, the first panel features a young french woman in a pink basket dress, playing with jump rope with a foliated branch, in the spirit of Fragonard's scenes. The second panel features a girl dancing in her charming blue dress and the third one a young man with a cape and hat dancing. The lower part of these three panels presents three different cartridges, ode to music with representation of violin, wind instrument, surmounted by Louis XVI knots and encircled by magnificent aerial arabesques of flowers and plants. The frames are decorated with knots, floral and vegetal motifs, volutes and acanthus, with Rococo style palmette in the upper part. The exceptional work of this fold screen is from the 19th century Napoleon III period.
