This 1900 period Modern Style table has an extension piece with telescopic central legs for a total length of nearly 2 meters. It has one original extension piece. Created in response to the lack of imagination of the creators of the second half of the 19th century who copied the past styles, especially for furniture, the Art Nouveau style develops with artists like Guimard, Gallé, Majorelle, Horta, Gaudi or Mucha. The search of asymmetry, taste curves and vegetable inspiration are the main characters of this style.
